Ashwe: Taking a Bar-First Brand to the FMCG Shelf

Next, we shaped the shift.

We helped Ashwe reimagine its identity for shelves, fridges, and TikTok feeds:

  • Packaging design exploration: From minimalist cans to bold foaming-cap bottles, we prototyped ways to stand out in retail environments.

  • Rebranding options: Typography, tone of voice, and visual language were evolved to suit both the club and the kitchen counter.

  • Usage positioning: We developed new consumption contexts — brunch cocktails, poolside gatherings, and “host-with-the-most” starter kits.

We also outlined a retail-friendly value proposition, bridging the gap between novelty and everyday indulgence.

First, we broke the bottle.

We started by identifying where the brand stood — and where it could go. That meant diving deep into the consumer mindset through:

  • Competitive analysis in the alcohol and lifestyle FMCG space

  • Trend forecasting on how younger audiences consume and share alcohol
